Ambient Settings Can Be Annoying

Q: I find tooltips, event viewer, and having to reset my command changes annoying, how do I change that?

A: Ambient settings.

Located on the Toolspace's Settings Tab. Right click your drawing and choose "Edit Drawing Settings".  The "Ambient Settings Tab" General section has three options that are a must have in my template.

#1 Save command changes: An example is when creating parcels from objects you don't necessarily want the default values. So you change them and the next time you create parcels from objects they go back to the default!  Set this value to yes and in essence the last changes you made will become the default.

#2 Show event viewer: This thing pops up too much and vary rarely gives pertinent information.  Turn it off.

#3 New Entity Tooltip State: I leave this turned off.  There are usually only a handful of alignments or surfaces I actually want to show tooltips so I will turn those on manually.
